CTEK MXS 5.0 12V Professional Battery Charger 56-305 Temperature Compensation. The MXS 5.0 is an advanced microprocessor-controlled battery charger with an integrated automatic temperature compensation that provides unmatched performance on lead-acid batteries from 1.2 Ah to 110 Ah.

The MXS 5.0 solves a wide range of battery problems, making it the ideal charger for users with high demands. Functions of the MXS 5.0 include battery status diagnostics to determine if it can receive and hold a charge, a patented automatic desulfation step, and a special reconditioning step that will revive and restore deeply discharged and stratified batteries. The AGM option is perfect for maximizing performance and lifespan of most stop-start batteries. The built-in temperature compensation ensures optimal charging performance even in the most extreme conditions. The patented pulse maintenance/float charging makes the MXS 5.0 ideal for long-term maintenance.

The complete process of testing, charging, and maintaining the battery is easily followed on the clear LED display. Protected against reverse polarity and short circuits. The MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic 12V "plug and forget" charger with 8 charging stages, offering selectable SMALL BATTERY and NORMAL BATTERY programs. The RECOND and AGM options work independently or together in the SMALL BATTERY and NORMAL BATTERY programs to provide great versatility to the user. Wide charging range on all types of lead-acid batteries from 1.2 Ah to 110 Ah with additional maintenance capability up to 160 Ah.
