Do not recharge the battery at a voltage higher than 14.6V. If the voltage is much higher, there is a risk of overheating and fire. The battery should not be in contact with water. Do not place the battery near a flame or a heat source exceeding 60°C. The connectors are provided with the battery.

It is not dangerous because even if damaged (pierced or crushed) it does not explode or catch fire unlike lithium ion batteries. The materials used for its manufacture are not dangerous (no heavy metals like in lead batteries or dangerous elements like acid).
