How to Use the BT300P

Connect the red positive battery clamp to the positive terminal (+) of the battery, and connect the black negative battery clamp to the negative terminal (-) of the battery. Make sure the clamps are securely attached to the battery terminals to obtain accurate results.

The device will automatically enter the main menu after 3 seconds. Select the test you want to perform, then press “ENTER/PRINT” to continue.

Battery Test: The engine and all other accessories must be turned off.
Cranking Test: The engine and all other accessories must be turned off.

Charging Test: The engine must be running, and all other accessories must be turned off.

Important:
The battery type must be selected before testing, and a time interval must be observed between multiple tests; otherwise, the test results may be inaccurate.

Printing and Data Review Function

The TOPDON BT300P is a 12V battery tester with a built-in printer, which can print the test results shown on the LCD screen onto paper in just a few seconds. There is no need to worry about the printer running out of ink. No other supplies such as ribbons or cartridges are required. Standard thermal paper is the only consumable needed to print your test results.

With the DATA Review function, you do not have to worry about the latest test result not being saved in time, and you can review it later for analysis.

The BT300P battery tester can perform battery tests to calculate state of health (SOH), state of charge (SOC), voltage, current, internal battery resistance, and provide a reliable basis for inspection and maintenance of vehicle batteries.

The cranking test performed by the BT300P can measure cranking current, cranking voltage, and cranking time to help technicians determine whether the starter motor is functioning normally.

This function is used to test charging voltage, no-load voltage, and ripple voltage to determine whether the generator output voltage is normal and whether the rectifier diode is working properly, helping detect and analyze the health of the car charging system.
